Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT and radiographic imaging with limited supervision in our Radiology department. This PRN position emphasizes patient care, accuracy, and safety.

You will prepare histories, operate scanners, administer contrast under physician direction, and ensure precise records and successful coordination with radiologists and radiology staff. Ideal candidates will have imaging sciences education and ARRT registration requirements met, with the ability

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited education program in Imaging Sciences.
• Active KBMIRT required at time of hire.
• ARRT registered in Radiography.
• Registry eligible candidates are required to obtain CT certification within one year of employment.
• AART CT registry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality images for Radiologist's review.
• Prepares accurate records and verifies orders in chart.
• Manipulates computerized image data to obtain interpretive information and archiving.
• Administers contrast media under the direction of a physician and in accordance with department policy.

With limited supervision, executes computed tomography and radiographic images. Gathers histories and prepares needed information to complete the patient's record. Notifies appropriate persons for equipment services and preventive maintenance. Order and stock supplies.
