Job summary

Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking an Imaging - Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) PRN on the 1st shift. The CT Technologist will perform CAT scans on patients from birth to death, coordinate patient flow, and supervise the CT room operations.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registration or eligibility, Kentucky Radiation Operator Certification, CT experience (registry preferred), and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registration or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Must have current Radiation Operators Certification with the Kentucky Department of Human Resources.
• CT experience and CT registry preferred.
• BLS Required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CAT scan examinations on patients from birth to death.
• Coordinate patient flow and other activities involving the CT scanner.
• Supervise the operation of the CT scan room and provide direction for other personnel.
• Administer contrast material for examinations and operate CT equipment safely.
• Assist physicians with procedures and patient care, and maintain accurate records.
