Job summary

Live Well Homecare seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT and molecular imaging procedures, ensuring quality data and patient safety. You’ll administer imaging protocols, assist with interventional procedures, and monitor image quality while maintaining confidentiality and ALARA principles.

Collaboration with licensed practitioners and ongoing education of students and staff are integral. A strong foundation in radiation safety and patient care is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB certification required on hire; new grads must obtain certification prior to employment.
• Advanced certification steps must be completed within 24 months for hires after a defined date.
• Graduate of Specialty Training in Radiologic Technology; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety, imaging protocols, and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct patient identification and proper order acquisition while maintaining confidentiality.
• Apply ALARA principles to optimize safety.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed and evaluate image quality.
• Verify data storage, transfer, and post-processing of CT data.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers; assist with interventional CT procedures.
• Perform CT procedures independently or with licensed practitioners.
