Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Radiologic Technologist/CT technologist to perform diagnostic imaging under physician direction. The role requires professional judgement, quality imaging, and compassionate patient care across emergency, inpatient and outpatient settings.

The successful candidate will work in a Magnet hospital system with strong patient safety standards, engage in staff education, and support continuous quality improvement in radiology services.

Qualifications

• Technical School Diploma or equivalent radiography training.
• 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist and 1 year as CT technologist.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification required.
• RT - Registered Technologist Radiology in PA upon hire.
• CT technology competency and understanding of imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Performs all imaging procedures and operates equipment safely and properly.
• Reviews images to ensure quality and radiation safety.
• Explains exams to patients and maintains confidentiality of PHI/HIPAA.
• Ensures correct exam is ordered and images are delivered to the PACS.
• Documents exam details, patient history, and any adverse reactions to contrast media.
