Job summary

Soliant in Birmingham, AL is seeking a CT Technologist with 1+ year CT and CT/PET experience to join a dynamic imaging team. You will perform CT scans, contribute to treatment planning, and support patient care with professionalism.

ARRT certification (or registry-eligible), current state licensure (where required), and BLS are required. You will ensure safety, document procedures, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.

Qualifications

• Registered or registry-eligible as a CT Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
• Experience with CT and CT/PET imaging procedures.
• Current state licensure in radiologic technology (if required).
• BLS certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and CT/PET scans for diagnostic and treatment purposes according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Ensure accurate patient preparation and provide compassionate care throughout the imaging process.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment; troubleshoot minor issues and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Adhere to safety standards to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff.
• Document procedures, observations, and results in patient records.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality diagnostic information.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering supplies related to imaging services.
