Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a CT/CT-PET Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging in a contract role in Birmingham, AL. You will ensure patient prep, operate imaging equipment, and maintain high safety standards while delivering quality diagnostic images.

Responsibilities include collaboration with radiologists, accurate documentation, and contributing to inventory and supply management. BLS and ARRT eligibility/ licensure are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• CT and CT/PET imaging procedures experience
• Knowledge of radiographic equipment and protocols
• Current state radiologic licensure (if required) and BLS certification
• Strong interpersonal skills and safety focus

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and CT/PET scans for diagnostic and treatment purposes according to physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure accurate patient preparation and provide compassionate care throughout the imaging process
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, troubleshoot minor issues and coordinate repairs as needed; adhere to safety standards to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff
• Document procedures, observations, and results in patient records
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality diagnostic information
• Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering supplies related to imaging services
