Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist in Birmingham, Alabama, to join a partnering hospital on a contract basis. The role offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour days, and an initial 18-week assignment with potential extension.

Required qualifications include an accredited Radiologic Technology degree, ARRT certification (CT preferred), active state license, and BLS. The position emphasizes safe patient imaging and quality CT practices.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT (R) certification in Radiography; CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license where applicable.
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients and address questions.
• Ensure patient safety and radiation protection during procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical image quality.

Education
