Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a contract role in the GA imaging team. Night shift, CT/CT-PET duties, autonomy with collaboration across clinical staff. Strong focus on patient care, radiation safety, and diagnostic quality will be essential.

Requirements include ARRT-R and ARRT-CT, accredited Radiologic Technology program, BLS, and at least 1 year of radiology experience. Excellent communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are expected.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Active ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R) and ARRT Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certifications.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of Radiology experience; less than 1 year of CT experience will be considered.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with clinicians, patients, and family members.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with high attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure clinical setting.
• Proficient in all CT modalities, patient positioning, exposure settings, and ensuring radiation protection.

Responsibilities

• Accurately verify provider orders and patient identification using two unique identifiers.
• Prepare and position patients for CT and CT/PET procedures, ensuring privacy and comfort.
• Obtain and document patient histories and perform pre-procedural verification.
• Operate, adjust, and maintain imaging equipment for quality diagnostic outcomes while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Review and release diagnostic images, responding to clinical emergencies and assisting with restocking and safety routines as needed.
• Perform quality control checks, send studies to PACS, and ensure accurate patient records.
• Provide preparatory instruction to patients and address questions or concerns with clear communication.
• Follow protocols for equipment sterilization and adhere to hospital and department policies.
