Job summary

SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO, seeks an Radiology Technologist to perform CT procedures per radiologist protocols. Candidates must have ARRT credentials and CT/NM expertise; no experience required.

Relocation assistance available for qualified external candidates. Schedule flexible; 40 hours weekly with shifts including evenings and weekends. Responsibilities include patient positioning, contrast administration, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• ARRT credentials required for radiography and CT
• CT credential or nuclear medicine credential preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepares and positions patients and selects parameters for CT procedures
• Administers contrast media within scope of practice and regulations
• Observes patient during procedure and adheres to radiation safety procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned

Pay Range: $32.48 - $48.72/hour& Daily Pay available!

Shift Differentials: Evening $2.50/hr, Night $3/hr, Weekend $2, Weekend Option $7.50/hr

Requirements:Completion of Radiology program and ARRT-R or RCIS/CCI credential as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist & Cath Lab cross training can be provided!

Job Summary

Performs computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists. This position must perform at least 3 of the following procedures: biopsy, TAVR, coronary, watchman, extremity work for OR planning, ablations or fiducial placement.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitors protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted.
• Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

• Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program
