Job summary

SSM Health in Lake Saint Louis, MO, is seeking a PRN CT Technologist to perform computed tomography procedures and support radiologists with a range of CT imaging tasks. The role emphasizes patient positioning, contrast administration, and adherence to safety protocols.

The ideal candidate completes Radiology Technology training, may hold ARRT-CT or equivalent credentials, and holds BLS. Prior radiology experience is not mandatory, and the position supports ongoing credentialing within 12 months

Qualifications

• Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program.
• ARRT-CT or CT credential within 12 months of hire (CT credential)
• Basic Life Support (BLS HCP) certification required
• ARRT-R / ARRN-T / NMTCB credentials may be required depending on state location

Responsibilities

• Position patients and select appropriate anatomical and technical parameters.
• Administer contrast media and/or medications within scope.
• Monitor patient during procedures and report any abnormal activity.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Performs computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists. This position must perform at least 3 of the following procedures: biopsy, TAVR, coronary, watchman, extremity work for OR planning, ablations or fiducial placement.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

• Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitors protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted.
• Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION
• Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program EXPERIENCE
