Job summary

SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, MO is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures for diagnosis following radiologists' protocols. A CT credential is required within 12 months of hire.

Regular full-time shift; sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available for qualified applicants. Responsibilities include patient positioning, contrast administration, safety monitoring, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Completion of Radiology/Nuclear Medicine/Radiation Therapy program.
• CT credential required within 12 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP).
• ARRT-R Radiography or equivalent certification required or within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomical and technical parameters.
• Administers contrast media and/or medications within scope and regulations.
• Monitors patient during procedure and updates protocols as needed.
• Adheres to radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Performs computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists. This position must perform at least 3 of the following procedures: biopsy, TAVR, coronary, watchman, extremity work for OR planning, ablations or fiducial placement.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitors protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted.
• Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION
• Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program EXPERIENCE
• No experience required REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL LICENSE AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS State of Work Location: Illinois
