Job summary

System Support is seeking a CT Angiography/Quality Technologist to independently perform CT procedures and 3D reconstructions in the CT department at MVH. You will coordinate patient flow, manage protocol compliance, and support imaging quality while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires ARRT CT/RT certification, an associate degree in Radiologic Technology, and 1–3 years of experience, with on-site responsibilities and potential on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• ARRT RT (R) and RT (CT) registries required.
• ODH licensure required.
• BLS within 30 days of hire.
• 1–3 years of job-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multiple physician specialties to deliver and develop imaging studies.
• Assess customer and co-worker needs and provide appropriate action.
• Demonstrate anatomy knowledge and technical factors for quality angiographic images.
• Develop procedures and protocols with Medical Imaging managers.
• Responsible for billing and reimbursement related to MRI and CT programs.
• Coordinate Imaging Reconstruction Program, training, and quality monitoring.
• Work with PACS team for data storage and transmission.
• Perform as Imaging Technologist as needed.
• Follow radiation and MRI safety policies.

Title: CT Angiography/Quality Technologist

Department: CT

Hours: Tues-Fri 1030a-9p

Status: Full Time

Position Summary

Independently performs computed tomography (CT) procedures and 3D Post Processing Reconstructions utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media. Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the CT scanner. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of duties in order to maintain equipment in good working condition. Available to Medical Imaging CT Staff for protocol consultation. May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs. May have on call responsibilities.

Essential Duties & Functions

• Work with multiple physician specialties (cardiologists, radiologists, surgeons, etc.) to determine needs and deliver/develop appropriate imaging studies.
• Assess customer & co-worker needs, determine the appropriate action, and appropriately assist as needed.
• Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and the technical factors necessary to produce high-quality non-invasive angiographic procedures.
• Develop procedures & protocol in conjunction with Medical Imaging managers.
• Responsible for accurate billing & reimbursement issues related to the MRI and CT programs.
• Coordinates and manages the Imaging Reconstruction Program, including training technologists and physicians, maintaining competencies, and monitoring quality measures.
• Works closely with the PACS team to ensure appropriate storage and transmission of angiographic data.
• Functions as an Imaging Technologist as needed.
• Follows radiation and MRI safety policies and procedures.
