Job summary

System Support in Dayton, OH is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to independently perform CT procedures with proper technique and contrast media administration.

You will coordinate patient flow, operate the CT scanner, and apply professional judgment to keep equipment in good working order, with occasional work in other imaging modalities and potential on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology is required.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• ARRT RT (R) registry is required.
• CT registry preferred.
• ODH licensure is required.
• One year CT experience or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform CT procedures with proper technique and contrast administration.

Job description

Independently performs computed tomography (CT) procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media. Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the CT scanner. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of duties in order to maintain equipment in good working condition. May perform procedures in other imaging modalities or at other facilities based on departmental needs. May have on call responsibilities.
