Job summary

System Support is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT imaging, administer contrast media, and coordinate patient flow while ensuring equipment is maintained and compliant with licensure.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT RT (R) registration, CPR within 30 days, and Ohio licensure with CT registry preferred. On-call duties may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
• ARRT RT (R) registry required
• CPR Certification within 30 days of hire
• ODH licensure required
• CT registry preferred
• Minimum level of experience: No prior job-related experience
• One year experience in CT preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures using proper techniques and administer contrast media.
• Coordinate patient flow and CT scanner activities.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition and exercise professional judgment.
• May perform procedures in other imaging modalities as needed or at other facilities.
• May have on-call responsibilities.

Job description

Independently performs computed tomography (CT) procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media. Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the CT scanner. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of duties in order to maintain equipment in good working condition. May perform procedures in other imaging modalities or at other facilities based on departmental needs. May have on call responsibilities.
