Job summary

Manhattan College is seeking a CSTEP Coordinator to join the Pathways Center. You will provide holistic advising, student success coaching, and career development for up to 100 CSTEP participants, aligning academic experiences with career exploration and professional licensure goals.

The role includes coordinating programming, tracking outcomes, supporting the Summer Program, and collaborating with faculty and external partners to advance student success in STEM and health-related fields.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• At least one year of experience working with college students in a similar program or related student support setting.
• Demonstrated commitment to STEM and health-related fields.
• Experience with advising, mentoring, or coaching is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary advisor and success coach for an assigned caseload of up to 100 CSTEP students.
• Provide wrap-around support across a student’s academic career, focused on academic achievement and post-graduate planning.
• Conduct regular check-ins to monitor progress and identify opportunities and barriers to success.
• Connect students with academic, financial aid, student support, and campus resources.
• Maintain an open-door approach to advising and provide responsive support.
