Winona Health is seeking a Certified Surgical Assistant (CSFA) to join its Operating Room team. The role supports the physician and surgical staff during intra-operative procedures, performing delegated tasks and maintaining aseptic technique in a fast-paced environment.

The position is 0.80–0.90 FTE with day shifts (6:30 am–3 pm or 8 am–4:30 pm), weekend and holiday call rotations, and a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical First Assisting.
• Certified as a Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) by the National Board.
• BLS Certification required.
• Verbalizes role in codes and emergencies.
• Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook; Cerner knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Provide First Assistant duties under physician supervision.
• Assist with suture and staple removal, drains, and dressings.
• Maintain aseptic technique and effective intra-operative communication.
