Job summary

Austal USA is seeking a Logistic Analyst – Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) Lead to support CSA deliverables and interface with ILS teams, suppliers, and Navy coordination. The role requires CSA experience, data management skills, and strong communication.

The candidate will assist with CSA research, AEL baseline updates, and engineering change management, while collaborating with OEMs and ISEAs. Willingness to cross-train across ILS is valued.

Qualifications

• General Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with 1 year of experience or 2-5 years of CSA experience on Navy, MSC or USCG Contracts in lieu of degree.
• Demonstrated experience in Database development; CDMD-OA or Merlin preferred.
• Knowledge of AEL and APL basics.
• Familiarity with ILS processes and technical areas.
• Experience with System Breakdowns and HSC usage.
• Proficiency in MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in research and update of Configuration Status Accounting (CSA).
• Assist in review and update of Allowance Equipment List (AEL) Baseline.
• Interface with ILS team concerning HM&E Provisioning PTD as it relates to CSA.
• Interface with OEMs and Suppliers to obtain Vender Furnished Information.
• Interface with In Service Engineering Agents (ISEAs) and Navy as needed.
• Participate in Engineering Change Management meetings documenting CSA impacts and ROM estimates.
• Perform Sight Validation of product configuration.
