Job summary

The United States Navy seeks Cryptologic Technicians Interpretive (CTIs) who translate and analyze foreign language communications to support fleet and national security operations. CTIs combine language talent with advanced technology to provide timely intelligence to commanders worldwide in diverse environments.

You will complete phase I and II language training, handle classified material, and may deploy aboard surface ships or submarines.

Responsibilities

• Operate advanced radio receivers, recording devices, computer terminals and communications systems.
• Translate, interpret and transcribe foreign language communications data.
• Analyze and report highly technical intelligence for fleet commanders and national intelligence agencies.
• Work with classified material and advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning systems.
• Perform temporary duty aboard Navy surface ships and submarines, based on assignment requirements.
