Job summary

U.S. Navy information warfare CTIs are highly skilled linguists and intelligence professionals who collect, translate, transcribe and analyze foreign language communications to support Fleet and Joint Force operations.

CTIs work with advanced radio and AI/ML systems, and may be assigned to shore-based centers or temporary duties aboard surface ships and submarines to meet mission requirements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate advanced radio receivers, recording devices, computer terminals and communications systems.
• Translate, interpret and transcribe foreign language communications data.
• Analyze and report highly technical intelligence for fleet commanders and national intelligence agencies.
• Work with classified material and advanced AI/ML systems.
• Perform temporary duty aboard Navy surface ships and submarines as required.
