Job summary

US Navy Information Warfare CTI specialists translate and analyze foreign language communications to support national security and tactical operations. They operate advanced radio and computer systems, translate and transcribe data, and report technical intelligence to fleet and national agencies.

CTIs work with classified material and AI/ML systems, and may perform temporary duty aboard ships or submarines, as assigned.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required for applicants and immediate family.
• Eligibility for continuous access to Sensitive Compartmented Information and Top Secret clearance.
• Strong interest in foreign languages and language learning.
• Normal hearing and ability to work with classified information.

Responsibilities

• Operate advanced radio receivers, recording devices and terminals.
• Translate, interpret and transcribe foreign language communications.
• Analyze and report highly technical intelligence for fleet commanders.
• Work with classified material and AI/ML systems; may deploy aboard ships.
