US Navy Cryptologic Technicians Interpretive (CTI) are highly skilled linguists and intelligence professionals who collect, translate, transcribe and analyze foreign language communications to support national security and strategic decision-making. They work with advanced AI/ML systems and may deploy on ships and submarines.

CTIs undergo Phase I/II language training and can earn language proficiency pay. Candidates must qualify for top secret clearance and be U.S.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and report highly technical intelligence for fleet commanders and national intelligence agencies.
• Work with classified material and advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning systems.
• Perform temporary duty aboard Navy surface ships and submarines, based on assignment requirements.
