Position Overview

As a Security Engineer within PNC's Technology organization, you may be based in a remote location. This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.

Experience

• Experience with certificate automation, including an in-depth understanding of automation practices, certificate management, and scripting as needed.
• Advanced knowledge of Cryptography, including post-Quantum crypto capabilities, algorithms, and the impact of Quantum computing.
• Advanced knowledge of certificate lifecycle management for troubleshooting and support.

Technical Skills

• Experience working with certificates.
• Scripting and Automation: PowerShell and/or Python.
• Troubleshooting TLS communications.
• Familiarity with securing data in cloud environments (Azure, Microsoft 365, Purview, AWS).
• Expertise in Data Protection techniques.
• Skills in securing end-user devices and understanding endpoint protection tools.
• Understanding network security protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Experience with Power BI and Power Automate.
• Limited off-hour on-call support may be required.

Compliance and Regulatory Knowledge

• Familiarity with data governance frameworks, audit and reporting processes, and records management.

Additional Experience

• Practical experience with certificate lifecycle management, automation, Venafi, ADCS/PKI.
• Experience in incident response, metrics management, and relevant industry experience.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $65,000 - $187,200, incentive eligible, with comprehensive benefits including health coverage, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
