As a Security Engineer within PNC's Technology organization, you may be based in a remote location. This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.

Experience
- Experience with certificate automation, including an in-depth understanding of automation practices, certificate management, and scripting as needed.
- Advanced knowledge of Cryptography, including post-Quantum crypto capabilities, algorithms, and the impact of Quantum computing.
- Advanced knowledge of certificate lifecycle management for troubleshooting and support.
Technical Skills
- Experience working with certificates.
- Scripting and Automation: PowerShell and/or Python.
- Troubleshooting TLS communications.
- Familiarity with securing data in cloud environments (Azure, Microsoft 365, Purview, AWS).
- Expertise in Data Protection techniques.
- Skills in securing end-user devices and understanding endpoint protection tools.
- Understanding network security protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Experience with Power BI and Power Automate.
- Limited off-hour on-call support may be required.
Compliance and Regulatory Knowledge
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks, audit and reporting processes, and records management.
Soft Skills and Professional Qualities
- Delivery-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and effective communication skills.
- Adaptability and strong ethics and integrity.
Additional Experience
- Practical experience with certificate lifecycle management, automation, Venafi, ADCS/PKI.
- Experience in incident response, metrics management, and relevant industry experience.
Tools and Technologies
- Data Protection solutions, PowerShell, Microsoft 365, Python, Power BI, Power Automate.
Job Description
- Provide subject matter expertise in security concepts, design, build, and maintain technology solutions, and manage project deliverables.
- Collaborate with architecture to implement high-level designs, conduct impact analysis, and ensure operational readiness.
- Evaluate patches and updates, and utilize governance processes for change management.
- Develop detailed documentation and build solutions.
- Support transition and operational support, and seek continuous knowledge growth.

Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience. Certifications are preferred but not mandatory. Military experience or equivalent may be considered.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $65,000 - $187,200, incentive eligible, with comprehensive benefits including health coverage, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
