Job summary

FalconX is seeking an experienced trade operations role in the New York City area to manage counterparty settlements and inventory reconciliation across multiple systems. You will work closely with the Trading Desk, Product, and Customer Success teams to meet client expectations and maintain accurate settlement data.

Base pay ranges between $109,000 and $135,000 with eligibility for a bonus, equity, and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in a trading firm, hedge fund or Investment Bank.
• Experience within Derivatives, Spot, and/or Credit.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Superb self-management skills and ability to organize work with checklists and measure progress.
• Previous experience in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Desire to become an expert on digital assets such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Responsibilities

• Handle all incoming counterparty settlement requests within a pre-agreed timeframe.
• Act as a point of contact for a portfolio of counterparties, coordinating with Trading Desk, Product, and Customer Success teams.
• Ensure trades, transfers and inventory reconciliation across internal subsystems and external systems.
• Monitor daily inventory needs for settlement, lending & borrowing activity and liaise with Treasury Management.
• Provide inputs to compliance and risk teams to design pragmatic controls.
• Adhere to established trade operations processes designed for regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with Accounting to ensure proper trade and settlement data is provided on time.
• Perform reconciliations between internal and external systems to ensure data integrity and resolve breaks.
• Improve reconciliation processes and identify gaps to ensure completeness.
