Job summary

Gemini in New York is seeking a Senior Associate, Institutional Sales to manage an independent pipeline of institutional clients while collaborating with the team to cover existing accounts. You will become a subject matter expert on Gemini’s Spot and Derivatives and help product teams prioritize client feedback to shape new features and innovations.

This role reports to the Head of Institutional Sales. The base salary is $85,000 with eligibility for a competitive bonus plan and equity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–5+ years in crypto, institutional sales, OTC, trading or execution.
• Proven ability to originate, close, and grow institutional business.
• Strong relationships with hedge funds, prop firms, asset managers, family offices, and crypto-native institutions.
• Track record of driving trading volume and revenue.
• Understanding of OTC, spot, derivatives, liquidity, execution, and prediction markets.

Responsibilities

• Become a subject matter expert for Gemini’s Spot and Derivatives, OTC Spot and Derivatives, Custody, Staking, and other institutional products.
• Prospect and generate new business for Gemini.
• Identify and implement go-to-market strategies and originate targets in the market.
• Build relationships with institutional decision-makers and investors.
• Execute relationship management processes for acquired institutional clients.
• Collaborate with Trading and Product to improve execution, liquidity, and client experience.
• Identify and develop new revenue opportunities across OTC and adjacent products.
• Synthesize client feedback to inform product development.
