Job summary

Talentedge is seeking an Accounting Lead in New York to own month-end close, manage cryptocurrency accounting, and support SEC reporting.

This hands-on role works within a growing fintech focusing on digital assets, crypto trading, and market infrastructure. You will collaborate with FP&A and senior leadership, driving improvements and control enhancements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• CPA certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Reconcile cryptocurrency wallets, exchanges and blockchain transactions.
• Support SEC reporting, financial statement preparation and external audits.
• Collaborate with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Lead automation initiatives across balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close.
• Develop and improve accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting operations and reporting.
• Monitor evolving accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
