Job summary

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a Biorepository Technician II to perform cryopreservation and related lab activities with high accuracy in our Norton, MA facility.

You will reconcile data in the BSI system, monitor freezers, receive and inventory biological samples, and ensure compliant documentation and shipping of materials. The role requires attention to detail and teamwork in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 years’ general working experience.
• Must possess basic laboratory skills.
• Experience in regulatory requirements (cGMP, cGLP or ISO) and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Familiarity with Excel and basic functions.

Responsibilities

• Data reconciliation: investigate and resolve data discrepancies with project collaborators.
• Monitor freezers, refrigerators and room temperatures and respond to alarms per SOPs.
• Receive biological samples: unpack, document, store per guidelines, create folders and track shipments.
• Receive supplies into inventory: verify contents and quarantine raw materials for QA release.
• Inventory of frozen samples: QC vials, scan into BSI, rectify paperwork, assist return specimen inventory, aliquot using aseptic technique.
• Retrieve frozen samples: pull per requisition, perform QC, update records, coordinate shipping and paperwork.
