Job summary

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a Biorepository Technician I to support receipt and shipment of biological samples, monitor freezers, and maintain accurate documentation. You will inventory and aliquot frozen samples, verify contents, and ensure compliance with QA and shipping regulations.

The role requires attention to detail, basic lab skills, and the ability to work as part of a team in a cold storage environment. This is an on-site position at our Frederick, MD facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years’ of general working experience
• Attention to detail with excellent documentation skills
• Familiarity with Excel and basic functions
• Flexible, agile team player able to adapt to changing priorities

Responsibilities

• Assist in shipment and receipt of biological samples, including packing, labeling and record-keeping
• Monitor freezers, refrigerators and room temperatures per SOPs
• Verify shipments against packing lists and update records
• Inventory and aliquot frozen samples using aseptic technique
• Ship samples by courier, maintain QC, and ensure regulatory compliance
