Job summary

Precision Medicine Group in Norton, MA is seeking a Biorepository Technician II to perform cryopreservation and associated laboratory tasks with high accuracy. The role involves data reconciliation, report generation, and adherence to regulatory standards such as cGMP/cGLP/ISO.

You will monitor freezers, receive and inventory samples, verify shipments, and maintain thorough documentation while working within a team in a regulated lab environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess basic laboratory skills.
• Experience in written and verbal communications and a strong documentation background in a laboratory setting with regulatory requirements (cGMP, cGLP or ISO) and SOPs.
• Current knowledge of IATA Shipping Regulations and maintenance of certification and standards.
• Requires good attention to detail, excellent documentation skills and ability to work in a group environment.
• Familiarity with Excel and basic functions.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies with project collaborators.
• Prepare and analyze reports from the BSI to identify possible data errors.
• Verify discrepancies noted by Lab Assistants during withdrawal or inventory procedures.
• Complete investigation tasks in specimen requisitions.
• Monitor freezers and temperatures as assigned by Manager.
• Receive biological samples and log all pertinent information.
• Store samples at correct temperatures per procedures.
• Ship samples and complete all related paperwork and forms.
• Carry out competency assessments for Repository staff.
