Job summary

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a Biorepository Technician II to perform diverse laboratory duties with high accuracy, including cryopreservation and data reconciliation using the BSI. The role requires strong documentation, regulatory knowledge (cGMP, cGLP or ISO), and effective communication with clients or investigators.

Key tasks include data discrepancy resolution, report preparation, freezer monitoring, sample receipt, and inventory management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 years’ relevant work experience.
• Must possess basic laboratory skills and be trained in aseptic technique.
• Current knowledge of IATA Shipping Regulations and maintenance of certification and standards.
• Comfortability with Excel and its functions, as well as BSI.
• Requires good attention to detail, excellent documentation skills and must work well in a group environment.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies with project collaborators.
• Prepare and analyze reports from the BSI to identify data errors.
• Verify discrepancies noted during withdrawal or inventory procedures.
• Monitor freezers, refrigerators and room temperatures as assigned by Manager.
• Receive biological samples and document shipment details.
• Aliquot and inventory frozen samples using aseptic technique.
