Commonwealth Fusion Systems LLC invites applicants for a 26-week Cryogenics Engineering Internship in Devens, MA. The role focuses on engineering design and analysis, with 40–50 hour weeks and an hourly salary based on year in school.

Interns must be authorized to work in the United States and will work on-site with various project assignments across cryogenic helium systems. Preferred majors include Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical/Software, or Computer Science.

Formación

• Pursuing BS/MS/PhD in a relevant engineering field.
• Willing to travel and work nights/weekends/on-call.
• Commitment to safety in potentially hazardous environments.

Responsabilidades

• Read, develop, and revise process engineering documents (PFDs, P&IDs).
• Develop thermohydraulics analyses, tools, models, and reports (Excel, EcoSim).
• Build tools to manage project milestones and budgets; report results to stakeholders.
• Hands-on building and testing of flow instrumentation, vacuum carts, and related hardware.
