Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a Factory Test Technical Specialist I for the Long Beach, CA facility. The role supports the Factory Test team responsible for hazardous testing from concept to execution on test assets, with a 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

PT schedule and a 50-hour week including overtime. You will help design, build, and operate demanding test systems for Terran R assets. The position emphasizes hands-on hardware, cross-functional collaboration, and driving safe, reliable testing outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of relevant technical experience, including handling hazardous systems.
• Experience with pressureized flight components and hazardous energy sources.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and Slack.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate pressurized cryogenic/pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Develop and manage data control systems for real-time monitoring.
• Provide guidance on testing practices and system capabilities.
• Identify and mitigate hazards for safe testing.
• Create and refine test plans and procedures.
• Troubleshoot reliability issues to improve performance.
