Job summary

Air Products is hiring a Customer Field Service & Construction Technician for a residence-based role with 50-75% travel across the southern United States. You will install cryogenic storage and piping systems, supervise crane lifts up to 250 Tons, and work closely with customers and contractors to ensure safe, compliant project execution.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; trade/technical degree preferred.
• Ability to pass a service road test and DOT physical.
• Experience reading technical drawings and performing installations.
• Must be safety-focused with strong communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Install product storage, processing, and delivery equipment at customer sites including cryogenic tanks, pumps, and piping.
• Demonstrate high safety standards during site activities and while driving company vehicles.
• Supervise crane lifts up to 250 Tons and coordinate transportation for equipment moves.
• Perform brazing, piping installation and pressure testing; read engineering drawings and schematics.
• Provide ongoing maintenance support and accurate cost reporting for materials and labor.
• Engage with customers and supervise contractors to ensure project readiness and documentation.
