Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a CAD Engineer to translate engineering designs into detailed 3D models and drawings for spacecraft structures. You will create and maintain drawings and assemblies and support CGT teams across design, manufacturing, and quality.

Requirements include 3–5+ years in aerospace drawing, proficiency with Creo and Windchill, and a strong understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5). This on-site role offers a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years aerospace drawings experience.
• Experience with cryogenic/propulsion drawings is a plus.
• Model-based design (MBE/MBd) release process familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Translate designs into detailed 3D models and drawings for spacecraft structures.
• Create and maintain detail, assembly, and installation drawings per ASME Y14.5.
• Develop ICDs and support ECRs/ECOs with updated drawings.
• Perform tolerance checks for manufacturability and dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain CAD models and drawings in Windchill PLM and BOMs for assemblies.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve discrepancies.
