Job summary

Select Sires, Inc. in Plain City, OH is seeking a Processing Technician to join the team at the Plain City facility. This hourly, non-exempt position reports to the Manager Non-EU Semen Packaging and Cryopreservation.

Responsibilities include printing data on straws, filling and sealing, storing straw inventory, updating records in proprietary software, and maintaining cryogenic storage and clean work areas. The role supports the company mission and core values daily.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a positive representation of the Select Sires, Inc. Mission and Core Values.
• Use jet print system to print bull and collection data onto straws.
• Fill, seal, rack, freeze, and store straws.
• Update inventory using proprietary software.
• Move product to appropriate storage location.
• Maintain liquid nitrogen levels in storage tanks and shipping containers.
• Move large inventory tanks.
• Detect and report defective material or questionable conditions to the packaging supervisor.
• Maintain work area and equipment in clean, orderly condition.
• Follow prescribed protocols and safety regulations.
