Job summary

Select Sires, Inc. in Plain City, Ohio, is seeking a Livestock Technician. This hourly, non-exempt position reports to the Production Supervisor and is based at our Plain City facility.

You will collect semen using safety protocols, handle bulls, and perform general livestock care including feeding and health testing. The schedule is Monday–Friday with early morning shifts; some holidays or weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong verbal communication skills preferred.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Serve as representative of mission and core values.
• Collect semen using safety protocols and handle bulls appropriately.
• Maintain facilities and equipment; operate vehicles and farm equipment.
• Provide general livestock care including feeding, health testing, and hoof trimming.
