Select Sires, Inc. is seeking a Processing Technician in Plain City, Ohio. The role focuses on processing, packaging, storage, and inventory management of genetic products with strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

The position reports to the Manager, Non-EU Semen Packaging and Cryopreservation, and offers a regular weekday schedule with potential adjustments to meet business needs. Candidates must have a high school diploma and relevant experience in manufacturing or related fields.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, agriculture, warehousing, lab operations, or related environment.
• Experience utilizing inventory management systems or production equipment.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and safe material handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Print bull and collection data onto straws using jet print systems.
• Fill, seal, rack, freeze, and store straws per established procedures.
• Update inventory records using proprietary software systems.
• Move products to designated storage locations.
• Monitor and maintain liquid nitrogen levels in storage tanks and shipping containers.
• Safely move and handle large inventory tanks.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas, equipment, and storage locations.
• Follow safety, quality, and operating procedures; support continuous improvement.
