Job summary

Cryogenic Processors in Paducah, KY is seeking a Production Specialist to support daily manufacturing operations in a cryogenics and freeze-drying environment. The role involves safely producing, handling, packaging and processing products with a strong emphasis on quality, food safety and sanitation.

Starting wage is $18 per hour based on experience, with a competitive benefits and PTO package. The facility operates in a tobacco/drug/vape free environment and requires a state background check

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is essential for handling products safely.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and follow policies.
• Compliance with GMPs, food safety, sanitation and workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Handle Food and non-food products in a manufacturing environment
• Prepare, process, package, label and palletize products
• Load and unload production equipment
• Assist with operation of production and packaging equipment as trained
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, utensils, tools, and work areas according to company procedures
• Maintain clean and organized workstations throughout shift
• Follow written work instructions, production records, and sanitations procedures
• Report equipment issues, product concerns, or food safety concerns to supervisors
• Perform other production related duties as assigned
• Follow all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) including but not limited to:
• No Jewelry in production areas
• No false eyelashes
• No cell phones in production areas
• No food, beverages, gum, or tobacco products in production areas
• Maintain proper personal hygiene and handwashing practices
• Follow all sanitation, allergen control, and contamination prevention procedures
• The company supplies required training in the following areas:
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Allergen Awareness and Control
• Organic Production Requirements
• Halal Production Requirements
• Kosher Production Requirements
• Food Safety and Sanitation Requirements
