Job summary

Linde Inc. in Hillsboro, OR, is seeking a skilled operator for our cryogenic air separation plant. You will run the plant safely, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and adjust process parameters to ensure reliable performance.

You will work with safety policies, collect data trends, and supervise contractors to ensure quality and compliance. Proficient with controls and instrumentation, and capable of using common office tools to document and report results.

Qualifications

• Experience operating production processes in an industrial setting.
• Proficiency with mechanical equipment, electrical systems, and instrumentation.
• Familiarity with Wonderware, Rockwell, Siemens controls.
• Ability to read P&IDs and schematic wiring diagrams.
• Effective verbal and written communication for safety and teamwork.
• Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and aerial platforms safely.
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate cryogenic air separation plant.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs that uphold plant safety and equipment integrity.
• Monitor process performance and adjust operational parameters to maintain reliability, quality and efficiency.
• Adhere to company, customer and regulatory safety work policies while reporting incidents.
• Collect and interpret trends in equipment and process condition data for proactive maintenance decisions.
• Oversee contractors performing routine and nonroutine work to ensure safety compliance and quality execution.
• Execute lockout tagout procedures and recommend improvements that enhance process availability and reliability.
