Job summary

Linde plc is seeking a plant operator in a heavy industrial setting to safely run a cryogenic air separation plant, perform maintenance, troubleshoot, and monitor performance to sustain reliability and quality. You will ensure safety policies, oversee contractors, and implement LOTO procedures.

The role requires strong technical skills in mechanical/electrical systems, instrumentation, and reading engineering drawings, with proficiency in common office software for documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience operating production processes or systems in an industrial environment with a strong commitment to safety.
• Proficiency in mechanical equipment, electrical systems, and industrial instrumentation.
• Familiarity with controls and human machine interface platforms such as Wonderware, Rockwell, and Siemens.
• Ability to read and revise engineering drawings including piping and instrumentation diagrams and schematic wiring diagrams.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to support safe, coordinated, and effective teamwork.
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and aerial work platforms safely and confidently in accordance with established procedures.
• Strong computer proficiency, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook for documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Youwill safely operate a cryogenic air separation plant to ensure reliable andefficient performance
• You shall perform and facilitate maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairsthat uphold plant safety and equipment integrity
• In this role you will monitor process performance and adjust operationalparameters to maintain reliability, quality, and efficiency
• You are expected to adhere to company, customer, and regulatory safety workpolicies while reporting all incidents promptly
• In addition you should collect and interpret trends in equipment andprocess condition data to strengthen proactive maintenance decisions
• Additionally oversee contractors performing routine and non‑routine work toensure safety compliance and quality execution
• Furthermore execute lock‑out tag‑out procedures and recommend improvementsthat enhance process availability and overall reliability
