Job summary

Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee manufacturing processes, drive efficiency, and ensure on-time delivery within budget. The role requires leading a large team, partnering with engineering, design, and sales, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across cryogenic pump operations.

You will collaborate with product management and cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements and maintain high product quality while optimizing costs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Management or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in rotating equipment.
• Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong budget management and expense control for operations.
• Regulatory, safety, and environmental compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability of cryogenic pump manufacturing.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations across operations.
• Develop and manage the annual manufacturing budget and monitor expenses within constraints.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and increase margins.
• Lead and develop a large team of manufacturing professionals with coaching and mentoring.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and sales to meet customer requirements and timelines.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and outsourced partners.
• Establish consistent processes, policies, and goals across the organization.
• Provide cross-functional support with product management, development, engineering, and project management to deliver on time.
