Job summary

Blue Origin seeks an experienced Liquids Cryogenic Hardware Design Engineer to own the complete lifecycle of mission-critical fluids hardware for lunar mission vehicles. You will design, analyze, build, test, and operate fluid systems powering lunar logistics and human exploration. This role requires leadership, quality focus, and passion for spaceflight.

Relocation provided and up to 15% travel may be necessary. First Shift: 8am–5pm, with variability during mission phases.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field.
• 2+ years in aerospace propulsion and fluid analysis and piping design.
• Familiarity with propulsion and fluid system components such as valves, regulators, pumps for cryogenics and propellants.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs.
• Ability to create fabrication and installation drawings with Creo.

Responsibilities

• Define fluids component requirements and evaluate designs.
• Generate and present component details in design reviews.
• Create and release engineering drawings.
• Coordinate with supplier team to identify materials and components.
• Oversee design, build, test, and delivery of components to vehicle.
• Produce test and analysis reports after subsystem tests.
• Provide complete component verification products.
