Job summary

American Welding & Gas, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cryogenic Service Technician for immediate placement in Winchester, KY. You will service bulk gas systems, install new cryogenic vessels, and support field operations at customer sites and AWG facilities.

The role requires understanding of NFPA 55, CGA standards, and safe brazing techniques. A CDL Class A license and strong communication skills are highly valued; overnight travel and after-hours availability are expected.

Qualifications

• Cryogenic service experience preferred or equivalent field work.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and flow sheets.
• Familiarity with NFPA 55 and CGA standards is a plus.
• Valid CDL Class A is highly preferred; clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install cryogenic storage vessels and equipment at customer sites.
• Service cryogenic systems and ensure proper operation at AWG locations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of applicable safety standards and proper brazing techniques.
• Read and follow engineering drawings, piping layouts, and electrical schematics.
• Maintain safe handling of tools and equipment; demonstrate rigging and lifting procedures.
