Job summary

American Welding & Gas, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cryogenic Service Technician to install and service bulk gas systems at customer sites in Winchester, KY.

You will handle cryogenic vessels, vaporizers, pumps, and regulators, following safety and CGA/NFPA standards, with attention to brazing quality and reading complex drawings. The role requires after-hours availability, overnight travel, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer 3+ years’ cryogenic service experience.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Valid license and clean driving record.
• CDL Class A is a huge plus and prior management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install propane and cryogenic storage vessels and equipment at customer and AWG locations.
• Service cryogenic storage vessels and equipment at customer and AWG locations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of NFPA 55 and other CGA standards.
• Demonstrate quality brazing techniques; certifications preferred.
• Read engineering drawings, flow sheets, piping layouts and electrical schematics.
• Travel overnight; after-hours availability and weekend work as needed.
