Job summary

American Welding & Gas, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cryogenic Service Technician for on-site work in Winchester, KY. The role focuses on installation and maintenance of bulk gas systems, including cryogenic vessels, vaporizers, and related equipment.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in cryogenic service, strong communication, and the ability to read drawings and flow sheets. A Class A CDL is a big plus. Joining AWG offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years' cryogenic service experience.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational and reading drawings skills.
• Valid Class A CDL a huge plus; clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install propane and cryogenic storage vessels and equipment at customer and AWG locations.
• Service cryogenic storage vessels and equipment at customer and AWG locations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of NFPA 55 and other applicable CGA standards.
• Demonstrate quality brazing techniques and safe handling of tools and equipment.
• Read engineering drawings, flow sheets, piping layouts, and electrical schematics.
