Job summary

Nippon Sanso Matheson, Inc. is seeking a Cryogenic Service Technician in Lakeland, FL. You will install and maintain bulk gas storage systems, with dispatch from home for standard 8-hour days and occasional overtime for emergencies.

Most work is in a two-hour radius of your home, with daily customer visits and on-the-job plus classroom training to cover SOPs and code requirements. A related degree and field experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read/understand P&IDs and materials of construction, site layouts.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Understand operation of valves, regulators, and piping.

Responsibilities

• Complete physical tasks to install and maintain bulk gas systems.
• Interact professionally with customers, project managers, sales reps, contractors and inspectors.
• Complete site surveys as an initial step in planning bulk gas installations.
• Complete annual tank inspections within the assigned territory.
• Work 8-12 hour days in the territory, with occasional overnight trips.
• Safely operate a company-provided service truck.

CryogenicService Technician salary range $31.00 to $33.00 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY

The Service Technician is responsible for safelyinstalling and maintaining cryogenic and non-cryogenic bulk gas storagesystems. The Technician will dispatchfrom their home for standard 8-hour days. Overtime may be needed for emergency repairs and customerinstallations. Most customers are withina two-hour radius of the Technician and are typically serviced during normalbusiness hours. Training will primarilybe on-the-job along with some classroom training to cover SOPs and coderequirements.

ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS

• Complete physical tasks necessary toinstall and maintain bulk gas systems. This often includes moving system assemblies, lifting pipe, and usinghand tools. Systems are outdoors andwork must completed in typical seasonal conditions.
• Professionally interact with customers, project managers,sales reps, contractors, and inspectors
• Complete site surveys as aninitial step in the planning process of a bulk gas installation
• Complete annual tankinspections at all accounts within the assigned territory, ensuring compliancewith SOPs and codes
• Work 8-12 hour days in theassigned territory, with occasional overnight trips
• Safely operate acompany-provided service truck

QUALIFICATIONS

Education– Associates Degree - High school diploma or GED isrequired; college or technical degree is preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE

4– 6 years - A minimum of 5 years in a related field is preferred, ideally with experience in the industrial gas industry - preferred

Travelrequirements

Daily trips to customerlocations that are most often within two hours of the Technician’s home. Trips further away might occasionally requireovernight stays.
