Job summary

Airgas is hiring a Field Service Technician in Tampa, FL to support the installation and service of cryogenic bulk systems. You will help ensure safe operation, perform repairs, and maintain equipment in line with regulatory standards. Local travel is required with occasional overtime.

The role emphasizes hands-on mechanical and electrical work, site surveys, permits coordination, and keeping detailed maintenance records to support critical gas delivery operations.

Responsibilities

• Support the installation and service of cryogenic bulk installations at Airgas facilities and customer sites.
• Provide critical support for operations and ensure continuous service for vital systems.
• Refurbish and maintain pressure reduction equipment linked to bulk delivery systems.
• Analyze and perform repairs on electrical systems of cryogenic installations.
• Determine vaporizer sizes for specific applications and ensure proper equipment identification.
• Collaborate on piping system installations in accordance with industry standards and SOPs.
• Conduct site surveys and coordinate necessary permits before work.
• Uphold safety policies and protect team and community at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
• Oversee spare parts inventory and reporting as required.
