Job summary

Airgas in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Field Service Technician to install and service cryogenic bulk installations at Airgas facilities and customer sites, ensuring safe operation and compliance with OSHA, FDA, ISO and Airgas protocols.

You will respond to emergencies, perform repairs on cryogenic pumps, manage spare parts, and maintain accurate records while upholding safety policies and working with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Braze Certificate within 30 days of employment.
• Medical Installation Certification within 120 days of employment preferred.
• Knowledge of NFPA 99 and NFPA 50 requirements is beneficial.
• Experience with cryogenic, high-pressure gas systems is desired.

Responsibilities

• Install and service cryogenic bulk installations at Airgas facilities and customer sites.
• Respond to emergencies 24/7 to support critical operations.
• Repair pressure reduction equipment in bulk delivery systems.
• Perform electrical repairs and analyses for cryogenic installations.
• Install piping per industry standards and SOPs.
• Conduct site surveys and obtain permits as required.
• Maintain equipment records and perform preventative maintenance.
• Uphold safety policies and report incidents promptly.
• Manage spare parts inventory and assist with reporting.
