Job summary

GAS Energy Staffing LLC seeks a Mechanical Technician ASU to operate a cryogenic Air Separation Unit and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on compressors, pumps, and plant equipment. The technician will monitor SCADA/PLC controls, read drawings, maintain records, and perform calibrations. 2+ years in ASU or similar industry is preferred. Weekend/overtime may be required.

Qualifications

2 years of technical college or military technical experience.
2+ years operating an Air Separation Plant or related industrial experience.
Ability to repair AC compressors, sealers, and pumps.
Strong independent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor and operate a cryogenic Air Separation Facility.
Control flows, purities, and pressures using SCADA/PLC system.
Read technical drawings and perform QA tasks.
Maintain records per safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate PLC/DCS and plant equipment.
