Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated in Goleta, CA, is seeking a meticulous Cryocooler Technician to assemble precision components for the cryocooler production line. You will clean, document, and test parts, track WIP, and work with engineering to aid development efforts.

You will use production tooling, microscopes, and manuals, perform measurements, record results, and contribute to quality and efficiency on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, interpret, and work from equipment manuals, blueprints or sketches.
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours a day.
• Must be able to lift or carry up to 25 lbs., unassisted.
• Must be able to push or pull up to 50 lbs., unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision mechanical assembly and adhesive application following work instructions
• Perform measurements and execute test procedures; accurately record and document results
• Perform data entry for travelers and WIP tracking systems
• Assist Engineering in developmental processes, as necessary
• Several cleaning operations
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
