Job Description

Job Summary:

Cooler Production Assembler: Performs precision mechanical assembly for Cryocooler Production. Performs the required processes of cleaning, documenting, and testing of piece parts, subassemblies, and finished goods. Utilizes production tooling, computers, and equipment required for production and material/WIP tracking. Identifies and documents discrepant material. Collaborate with a team of Coworkers, Managers, and Engineering for Troubleshooting and Continuous Improvement efforts.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Precision mechanical assembly and precision adhesive application following work instructions
• Part inspection and metrology – (microscopes, calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.)
• Perform measurements and tests from test procedures and document results
• Miscellaneous support functions, as necessary

Job Qualifications

• Ability to work using hands and have good manual dexterity with attention to detail
• Basic computer skills - Outlook, Excel, Word
• Must be able to communicate clearly and be able to read and write using the English language

Desired skills

• Cryocooler Assembly and/or Cryocooler/Dewar integration
• Familiarity with Lean and 5S methods
• Familiarity with Camstar or equivalent
• Familiarity with Lab and ESD procedures

Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.

Salary Range: $32,300.00-$43,100.00
